The second cohort of the one-year International Business Excellence learning program, conducted by the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT), New Delhi and facilitated by the TVS Institute of Quality and Leadership (TVS IQL), concluded with a certification event on November 7, 2023.
This training initiative, collaboratively designed by TVS IQL and IIFT, encompassed carefully selected outcome-based learning content, while also integrating both formative and summative assessments. It concluded with Action Learning Projects, where participants applied the knowledge acquired throughout the program.
During the certification event, R. Anandakrishnan, President of HR and IT, highlighted the organization’s dedication to enhancing individuals’ capabilities in managing business operations. He also acknowledged the positive impact of the course in fostering learning growth within International Business (IB) and its subsequent benefits for business outcomes. Aligned with its Reimagine TVS 2030 strategy, TVS Motor Company strategically prioritizes International Business.
The learning journey with IIFT is set to continue, evolving into a dynamic Community of Practice (CoP). Rahul Nayak, Head of International Business, shared insights into the future, emphasizing the ongoing commitment to providing diverse opportunities for education, exposure, and experience. He encouraged participants to connect with external forums and professional bodies in International Business via the CoP, fostering networking opportunities and leveraging available resources to enhance business practices.
Guests from IIFT appreciated this initiative by TVSM and expressed their satisfaction with the learning application and value created during the journey. The best performers and committed learners were also recognized and rewarded during the event.
