At TVS Motor, our journey toward World Class Manufacturing (JIPM) is powered by the TVS Production System (TVS-PS) – a framework that ensures operational excellence, people development and continuous improvement. As part of this initiative, a programme on Standardized Work was organized for suppliers to align them with TVS Production System and build capabilities for seamless integration.
The program featured Classroom sessions , DOJO training followed by Action learning projects. A total of 17 participants from 10 supplier organizations took part in this programme.
Reinforce learning and encourage collaboration, Cluster reviews were conducted at supplier locations, creating a valuable platform for cross-learning and best practice sharing. The program culminated in a final review facilitated by Sensei Shigeru Tomonaga, who provided expert insights and validated the results achieved. Supplier top management was impressed with improvements on Productivity & Delivery metrics. Also shared enthusiastic testimonials, highlighting the significant benefits gained from this initiative.
