TVS-IQL proudly represented TVS Motor Company at the Robust Quality Engineering
Society (RQES) Conference 2026, held on 1-2 July 2026 in Tokyo, Japan. Papers presented by Mr. V. Balaji (R&D – PWT <11 KWT) on Validation of Catalyst Deterioration Monitoring Strategy Using System Behaviour Testing and Mr. Manickaraj & Ms. Nikkon Banerjee (QAD) on Enhancing Software Reliability of Incoming Phone Call Alerts Using Taguchi System Behaviour Testing Techniques received appreciation from the global quality fraternity.
The conference also provided valuable cross-industry learning opportunities through presentations from Yamaha, Kawasaki, Isuzu, Suzuki, YKK, ROHM, and academia, showcasing diverse applications of RO and MTS tools and offering fresh perspectives on problem-solving and parameter optimisation.
Additionally, Ms. Soumya S. Bankapur, Program Manager – CoP, IQL, presented the journey of the Community of Practice (CoP) – Taguchi Methods, alongside Mr. Shin Taguchi, highlighting key initiatives such as Study Circles, Green Belt, Black Belt, and Master Black Belt certifications, and technical paper presentations at internal and external forums.
